Our Current House Tour

We have just said goodbye to downtown city living and bought our first house in the suburbs. Our new place is about 35 minutes West of Toronto. It is a great little 1.5 story house, originally built as a military home, in 1952. It will take time, effort, and creativity to turn it into our dream home, but we think it is filled with potential.

Lots of before, progress, and hopefully some after photos coming soon!

  3. I'm so excited to see the after photos of your renovation, Jenny! You're lucky to have a large house. It's best to play with colors, furniture, and home accessories. I'll definitely check in from time to time just to see the finished projects. Thanks for this post! :)

  4. “It will take time, effort, and creativity to turn it into our dream home, but we think it is filled with potential.” - Take heart and go on with the renovations. You'll definitely make this place the reality of your dream home. With this much space, it won't come as a surprise if you get flooded with ideas on how to decorate and set the mood for each room. Anyway, I'll be looking forward to seeing the finished projects for your house. You'll probably share another house tour in the future, right? :)
